Letter to the Editor
Judging for the 2012 Communities in Bloom Awards Program is happening right now all across Canada. The results of this year’s program will be announced on Saturday, October 13th at the Communities in Bloom Symposium & Awards in Edmonton.
What is apparent to us, your judges, is that Millet is already blooming … Blooming with volunteers and community pride, with good government, with beautiful landscapes and parks, blooming in countless other ways. It was a pleasure to meet so many dedicated and passionate residents, business people, and government workers. We genuinely appreciated the opportunity we had to visit and we enjoyed learning about Millet; its past, present, and future.
Our heartfelt thanks and appreciation for all everyone is doing to continue to improve the quality of life in Millet, and in Canada. We were truly impressed with what we saw.
All the best!
Diane Clasen and Hugh Skinner
