On Oct. 4, 2012 at approximately 11:05pm, a lone male dressed in a black suit, black pants, white shirt and wearing a ski mask, entered the Boston Pizza lounge located at 5572-49 Ave. in Wetaskiwin.  The suspect brandished what appeared to be a long barreled firearm, demanded that “nobody move”, walked over to the cash drawer and removed an undisclosed amount of cash.  The suspect then slowly exited the lounge and ran away to the South and East of the Boston Pizza building.  Police immediately deployed several resources including the Wetaskiwin Police Dog Service in an effort to locate the suspect(s).  Nobody was hurt during the incident and the investigation is ongoing with the assistance of the Wetaskiwin General Investigation Section.
