Ma-Me-O Beach Legion Remembrance Day Service

Our Youth, Our Future?  Yes, students from the Falun, Lakedell, and Pigeon Lake Regional Schools proved once again that they know the importance and significance of Remembrance Day.  The Ma-Me-O Beach Legion # 252 received 128 entries in their 2013 Remembrance Day Literary and Poster Contest !  All entries showed knowledge of the term, “Remembrance”.  20 students were awarded certificates and cheques for their exceptional efforts.  These entries will now go on to higher levels.  In past years, several of the Ma-Me-O entries have placed at higher levels and have even made it to the Dominion level !  Congratulations to these Proud Canadians !
