It is with great sadness that Doug Roggeveen’s family announces his passing.  Doug passed away with loving family by his side early morning December 28, 2013 after a lengthy battle with cancer.  Doug led a full life, loved to have fun, and enjoyed traveling to visit with his sisters in Saskatchewan and San Diego (a couple of his favourite destinations) along with a memorable road trip to Alaska with his wife Myrna.
Doug leaves behind to celebrate his life and keep his memory within our hearts, his daughter Karen; son Darryl; grandkids Kirsten, Dylan and Robbie; great-grandson Logan; two special people in his life his sister Doris and niece Sylvia; as well as sisters Ethel, Bea (Bob) and Margaret (Brian), and brother Al (Jeanette) and Morrie (Helen).  Doug was predeceased by Myrna his loving wife.  We, the family, would like to thank dad’s good friend Lawrence for all he did for our dad.
A memorial service was held at the Millet Community Hall, 5107 – 51 Street, Millet, AB on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 2:00 p.m.
