Millet Students Awarded Scholarships

    Three hundred twenty-five UAlberta Augustana Campus students have been awarded scholarships and awards for the 2013-2014 academic year. Receiving such awards are:
    Melissa Hirsekorn, (top picture) of Millet , Alberta, a first year Bachelor of Science student, was awarded a total of $2,000 for Academic Excellence, funded by An Augustana Faculty Academic Entrance Scholarship and An Ivy and William Thomson Academic Excellence Scholarship.
    Erin Specht (Bottom Picture) , of Millet, Alberta, a third year Bachelor of Science student, was awarded a total of $1,000 for Academic Achivement, funded by The Dee-Jay Plumbing and Heating Ltd Award.
    Over $574,000 was provided by the University of Alberta and Augustana Campus in recognition of excellence in Academics, Fine Arts, Athletics, and Leadership. Support comes from generous donors, investment earnings on endowments, and from Faculty funded awards.
