Leduc RCMP Target Street Level Drug Dealers

Leduc RCMP Target Street Level Drug Dealers  Leduc RCMP Drug section, with the assistance of other Provincial Drug agencies, finished a four month project targeting street level drug dealers in the City of Leduc. Leduc RCMP members were able to arrest and charge five individuals for trafficking in illegal drugs.  The investigation led to charges against people from Leduc and nearby communities who have carried on their illegal drug trade within the City of Leduc. The following people have been charged: 
    1.) Kelsey LAJEUNESSE (22 years old), from Leduc Alberta, was arrested and charged with:
• Trafficking Cannabis Marijuana and Breach of Probation X2 (Leduc AB).         LAJEUNESSE appeared in Leduc Provincial court and was found guilty of  Trafficking Marijuana. 
    LAJEUNESSE  received a fine, 12 days in custody and was released on conditions.
    2.)  Nicholas Philip CARLETON (20 years old), from Thorsby Alberta, was arrested and charged with: 
• Trafficking Cannabis Marijuana X2  (Thorsby AB), and 
•    Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cannabis Marijuana (Thorsby, AB)
    CARLETON appeared in Leduc Provincial court and was found guilty of Trafficking Marijuana.  CARLETON received a fine, 12 days in custody and was released on conditions.
    3.)  Baylee Ann SHOEMAKER (22 years old), from Beaumont, has been charged with:
•  Trafficking Cocaine X2  (Leduc and Edmonton AB).
    A Warrant for the arrest of Shoemaker has been issued.
    4.) Kelsey CORDINGLEY (27 years old), from Edmonton Alberta, has been charged with:
•  Trafficking Cocaine (Leduc AB). 
    A Warrant for the arrest of CORDINGLEY has been issued.
    5.) Naseer Ahmed KHAN (48 years old), from Edmonton Alberta, has been arrested and charged with:
•  Trafficking Cocaine X3 (Leduc AB),
•  Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine (Leduc AB), and
•  Possession of Property Obtained by Crime (Leduc AB). 
    KAHN is to appear in Leduc Provincial Court on June 25th 2014, at 9:30 a.m. for these charges.
