On January 14, 2011 Lily Steinke passed away at the age of 89 years.
Lily is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, August; four children, Ken (Ev), Lloyd (Betty), Dallas (Karen) and Gladys (Lorin) Wentland; six grandchildren, Jeff (Niesha), Greg (Heather), Mike, Ryan, Lindsey and Tara Steinke; great-granddaughter, Ada; sister, Alice Triebwasser as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Lily was predeceased by her parents, Gustav and Ottilie Welke; 13 siblings and son-in-law, Mel Hamilton.
Memorial service will be held at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, 4601-51 Street, Leduc on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place and interment will be held at the Leduc Seventh-day Adventist Church Cemetery at a later date.Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the charity of the donor’s choice.
