It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Larry Fald, who died suddenly in his home town of Pigeon Lake, Friday, February 11, 2011 at the age of 63.

Larry is survived by his daughters, Tresa, Karen (Dave); grandsons, Derek and Kolin; siblings, Marie (Joe), Jean (Len), Barb (Bill), Colleen (Donny), Carol, John (Sylvia); along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Larry was predeceased by his father Andrew; mother Violet; siblings, Brenda, Gilbert, Audrey, Leona, and Ron.

Larry dedicated himself endlessly to family, community, carpentry and the Pigeon Lake Fire & Rescue. He will be fondly remembered for his contagious laughter, his kindness and his generous spirit. A Celebration of Larry’s life was held on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at the Ma-Me-O Beach Town Hall at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pigeon Lake Fire and Rescue, RR 1, Westerose, AB T0C 2V0 or the ‘Larry Fald Memorial Truck #50 Restoration Fund’ at any ATB Treasury Branch.
