Leduc 4-H public speaking competition a success

On Saturday, January 28 the Leduc 4-H Beef Club held their annual public speaking competition.

The winners for the junior level were: 1st place Teah Wedman, 2nd place Ivan Tolsma and 3rd place Rehbecca Carstiars.

For the Intermediate level: 1st place Ashley Tolsma, 2nd place Casey Lefebvre and 3rd place Grace Scheming.

For the senior level the winners were: 1st place Monika Knull and 2nd place Kassie Wrubleski. The first place finishers from each age category will move on to compete against winners from other clubs.

The club would also like to thank again the judges who volunteered their time for the event. The judges were (Intermediate division) Luke Wrubleski, Nicole Thomson, and Dana Mcfaull; (Junior and senior divisions) Lillian Hagar, Brad Clarke and John Coates.
