Breton RCMP investigate oilfield thefts

Breton RCMP

On Monday, February 13th, 2017 Breton RCMP received numerous complaints of oilfield lease site thefts in the Brazeau and Wetaskiwin County areas.

The majority of these thefts occurred at sites located between Breton and Pigeon Lake with copper ground wire being the common item reported stolen.
A smaller vehicle, sedan or SUV was used during the thefts.
