Thorsby/Breton RCMP

On April 10th, 2017 6:31 p.m. Thorsby RCMP received a call for robbery at the Bayview grocery store in Mulhurst Bay.

Thorsby and Breton RCMP responded to the scene. An investigation into the matter revealed that at approx. 6:16 p.m. a white male entered the grocery store as the clerk was closing up shop. The suspect approached the clerk and told him to open the till. The clerk ran out the door to their neighboring shop and called police. No weapon was seen or uttered and no threats were made.

The suspect got away with cash, lottery tickets, and two cartons of cigarettes.

The suspect then exited the store and fled the scene in a blue/green two-tone small pickup with partial Alberta plate # BM?88??.

The suspect is described as the following:

  • Caucasian male;
  • 5’11-6’0 tall;
  • Average build;

Wearing

  • Red ball cap, grey sweater, black sweat pants, white running shoes and sunglasses.
