On April 11, 2017 at approximately 7:45 p.m. a battery site in Leduc County was the target of a theft. The site is located near Hwy 616 and Hwy 771, at the northwest corner of Pigeon Lake.

Security cameras on the site captured the theft on video. A dark coloured, newer Dodge Ram is seen entering the site shortly before 7:45 p.m.

Two males are observed on the video. The driver remains in the truck and a full view of him is never seen. The driver appears to be Caucasian, late 20’s or early 30’s and is noted to have a beard.

The passenger exits the truck on two occasions to steal items from the site. The passenger appears to be in the same age bracket as the driver. He is wearing a Canucks sweater, jeans and boots.

The suspects are only on the site for two to three minutes before departing.
