On March 13, 2017, the Thorsby RCMP received a complaint of a theft of lumber, and damage to a skid steer on a residential property near Range Road 15, and Township Road 492.

During the weekend of March 11th, – 12th, 2017, the victim described his skid steer had its window smashed out; which was then used by the suspect(s) to steal approximately 250 pieces of lumber.
