Sweet and sour slow cooker wings

This is a tasty and easy dish that takes very little prep time. I hope you enjoy this is one that always disappeared fast when I had company.

Ingredients:

3 lbs chicken wings

1 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup all purpose flour

1/2 cup of water

1/4 cup white vinegar

1 1/2 Tbsp. Ketchup

1/4 cup soy sauce

1/4 tsp garlic powder

1 Tbsp. Onion flakes

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp. Prepared mustard

Instructions:

Discard tip and cut wings apart at joint. Place chicken pieces in 5 quart slow cooker.

Mix brown sugar and flour well in sauce pan. Add water, vinegar and ketchup. Stir. Add remaining five ingredients. Heat and stir until boiling and thickened pour over wings. Cover. Cook on low for 8 to 9 hours or on high for 4 to 4 1/2 hours until tender. Serve from slow cooker or remove the platter makes about 28 wing wing pieces and can be served with rice or whatever side dish you enjoy.
