Broccoli cheese squares

This is very good as an appetizer or for a lunch dish.


3 eggs, slightly beaten

1 cup 2 per cent milk

1 cup flour

1 Tbsp baking powdered

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp nutmeg

3 cups cheddar cheese shredded

2 Tbsp Parmesan cheese

2 – 300g pkgs. frozen chopped broccoli, well drained

2 green onions, chopped


Whisk together eggs and milk in large bowl. Combine flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg and stir into egg mixture. Fold in the cheeses, broccoli and onions. Pour into well greased 9 x 13 baking pan. Bake at 3:50° for 35 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting.
