Chicken and mushroom fettuccine


3 to 4 chicken breast fillets

2 Tbsp. Butter

2 cloves garlic, crushed

1/3 cup white wine

4 green onions, chopped

1/2 pkg bacon, chopped and partially cooked

Salt and pepper to taste

1/3 cup Parmesan cheese

Fettuccine , cooked

1 Tbsp olive oil

1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced up

2/3 cup cream

1 Tbsp flour

2 Tbsp water


Cut chicken up into pieces, cook. In oil and butter over medium heat, until browned. Add bacon, mushrooms, continue cooking for 2 to 3 minutes stirring occasionally. Add wine, cook until liquid is reduced by half. Add cream, green onions and bring to boil. Blend flour and water together, add to chicken ,stir until it boils and thickens. Reduce heat, simmer 2 minutes. Season to taste. Pour over cooked fettuccine noodles, add Parmesan cheese. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
