The Leduc 4-H Beef Club has been very busy these past few months, January and February. It started with our January meeting held on January 21st.
At the meeting we mainly discussed Public Speaking and did some impromtus to prepare. Public Speaking followed on January 26th with a great turn out! Thank you so much to our judges for taking time out of their day to judge us, we really appreciate it! Congrats to all of our members who did an amazing job! Awesome! The following placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd. In the Juniors 1st place was Cherese Eidick, 2nd was Ashley Tolsma and 3rd was Brianna Tolsma. Intermediates was in 1st place Monika Knull, 2nd Chad Dotzlaf and 3rd Shae-Lynn Hipkin. Seniors were 1st place Beth Hofstra, 2nd Kennedy Wrubleski and 3rd Sierra Halwa. All of the members, winners or not, did an exceptional job and congrats to Cherese Eidick for going onto Regionals!
The February meeting was held on February 11th and we discussed mainly our Cystic Fibrosis Fundraiser which will be on March 1st. Our aim is to raise money again to donate to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation which helps others and Carter Hipkin, who has CF and is one of our Cleaver members. You can look for the Leduc 4-H Beef Club in businesses all around Leduc from 10:00am to 1:00pm on Friday March 1st. We hope to see you come out and support our great cause!
