Leduc Beef Club May Report

Pipestone Flyer

So far leading up to our Achievement Day the Leduc 4-H Beef Club has been fairly busy starting off with the annual Highway Cleanup.

On May 4th our club and many other clubs were out on the highways cleaning them up of all the garbage. We did an amazing job and all of the members showed up to lend a helping hand! Great job guys! Following our Highway Cleanup on May 13 we had our May meeting. We discussed Achievement Day, U-Do-It Day, Weight-Out and Marketing to other businesses for our Achievement Day.

Our club Weight-Out will be on June 1st from 9:00-11:00am. All members bring your steers to get them weighed for Achievement Day.

To conclude we would like to put out a HUGE thank you to all of the businesses that sponsored and donated to our club to make our Achievement Day Show & Sale possible!! Thank You! Our Achievement Day will be held on Tuesday June 4th, 2013. We will have our show at 1:00 followed by supper at 5:00 and the sale at 7:00. Listen for our advertisement on the radio station 790 CFCW! We hope to see you all there! If you have any questions call Tracy Wrubleski at (780) 986-2857 or Andrea Knull at (780) 941-3828 and we’ll see you there!

Respectfully Yours
