On Wednesday, February 26, Sacred Heart School participated in Ash Wednesday and Pink Shirt Day as a start to the Lenten Season.
Students received ashes on their foreheads in the sign of the cross to remind them to turn away from sin and be faithful to the Gospel.
In a similar way, the students wore their pink shirts to remind them to turn away from doing wrong and to always be kind to those around them.
