Museum staff from across the region enjoyed the wonderful tea at the Sweety Pie Bakery in Millet’s Old Bank July 18.
Thanks for all of you for attending the second tea in honour of the students that are working in culture.
Mike presented the students with appreciation certificates. This was an excellent opportunity to acknowledge the efforts of these students in preserving and promoting Canada’s rich and vibrant history through Canada Summer Jobs/ Canadian Heritage – Canadian Museums Association and Young Canada Works in Heritage Organization.
There were students from the Millet and District Museum, Archives and Visitor Services, Leduc #1 Energy Discovery Centre, Leduc Grain Elevator, Reynolds Alberta Museum, Canada’s Aviation Hall of Fame and Wetaskiwin and District Heritage Museum.
