Leduc RCMP lay charges in sexual interference investigation

On May 6, two youth were reported missing from the area of Two Hills.

The youth were located in Leduc, and were found in the company of a male, according to an RCMP release. Through further investigation, the man, identified as Mark Sayler, 40, a resident of Two hills, was arrested and charged with the following:

- sexual Interference (X2)
- sexual Assault (X2)
- possession of Child Pornography (X2)
- luring a Child (X3)
- transporting liquor in an open container
- unlawfully giving liquor to a minor

Following a judicial interim release hearing, Sayler was released from custody to appear at the Alberta Court of Justice in St. Paul on June 12.

Due to the sensitive nature of the investigation and to protect the identities of the youth involved, no further details will be released at this time.
