Wetaskiwin RCMP have released a photo of a vehicle of interest in the investigation of a fatal hit and run on May 1 on Highway 13 near the city.
The vehicle is described as a White 2020 - 2025 Chevy Silverado - 2500/3500 series, with a large white canopy.

A 50-year-old woman from Montana First Nation was killed in a hit-and-run outside of Wetaskiwin on May 1.
Police say around 11:30 p.m. they were dispatched to the scene of a reported fatal pedestrian hit-and-run on Highway 13.
As a result of the investigation, the highway was closed for several hours. RCMP are seeking to speak with anyone who travelled on Highway 13, west of the Wetaskiwin city limits on May 1, between the hours of 10:45 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., more specifically anyone who witnessed a pedestrian on the roadway in that location or who may have dashcam footage recorded during this time period.
