The Pony Express concession, located inside the Calnash Ag Event Centre at 3611 Highway 2A, will be open June 26 to July 3 for breakfast, starting at 7 a.m.
The Ponoka and District Chamber of Commerce is hosting a breakfast on June 26 from 8 to 11 a.m. at the green space by 5029 49 Ave. The cash-only breakfast will cost $5 per person. Breakfast includes pancakes, sausage, juice or coffee
The Alberta Cattlemen’s and Alberta Country Gospel Opry is hosting a pancake breakfast and Cowboy Church Service at the Ponoka Stampede Grounds on Sunday, June 30, featuring the “Fehr Family Band.”
Breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. with the Cowboy Church Service to follow in the Stagecoach Saloon.
If you’re more in the mood for a burger or smokie, Hammy’s is holding their annual Canada Day Barbecue on Monday, July 1, from 11 a.m to 5 p.m. in Hammy’s parking lot, located at 45 Ave. and 50 St.
Burgers and smokies are $1.50 and ice cream treats are 25 cents. Drinks are free.
Ride the mechanical bull for $5 a ride. All funds raised will go the Rodeo Cowboys Benevolent Foundation.
