Just before 5 p.m. Mar. 18, Wetaskiwin RCMP responded to a collision between a train and a Semi-trailer at Range Road 242 and Highway 2A.
A Semi truck and its trailers stopped at a stop sign just south of Highway 2A, covering the train tracks in that area. As the train approached at a low speed, the Semi was unable to merge into traffic causing the two to collide.
RCMP say there were no injuries to anyone involved and no dangerous goods were spilled.
