Two people are facing drug and theft charges after RCMP conducted a search warrant at a property in the County of Wetaskiwin on Christmas eve.
On Dec. 24, 2024, Wetaskiwin RCMP received a report of a stolen vehicle. The Jeep had an onboard GPS and RCMP tracked it to a location in the county.
The Wetaskiwin RCMP Crime Reduction Unit obtained a search warrant for the property.
Upon arriving, RCMP located and arrested three individuals.
According to an RCMP press release, the stolen Jeep, as well as a stolen Dodge truck, and an imitation firearm were found on the property. RCMP also located prepackaged fentanyl ready for distribution.
Wetaskiwin resident Darryl Walter Admussen, 48, has been charged with:
- Trafficking a controlled substance;
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking;
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and
- Possession of property obtained by crime.
Admussen was taken before a Justice of the Peace and released from custody with his next court date set for Jan. 30, 2025, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Wetaskiwin.
Leduc resident Scott Alexander Clendon, 39, has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

The third suspect was released without charges.
