Friday Sept. 30, residents from the City of Wetaskiwin gathered at the Wetaskiwin Heritage Museum to walk in recognition of National Truth and Reconciliation Day.

In a sea of orange led by traditional drummers, over 100 people walked to the Peace Cairn next to the water tower before making their way to Jubilee Park.

At Jubilee Park bannock and coffee was served before speeches and traditional performances from drummers and dancers were put on for Orange Shirt Day.
