At approximately 10 p.m. on Jan. 28, 2022, Maskwacis RCMP responded to a 911 call to assist EMS at a Louis Bull Cree Nation, Alta., residence.
Upon arrival, RCMP discovered that 26-year-old Kirby Brown of Maskwacis, Alta., was deceased. The circumstances surrounding his death are deemed to be suspicious.
Alberta Major Crimes Unit have taken carriage of the investigation and an autopsy will be conducted in the following days.
