At the regular Sept. 14, 2020 City Council meeting, Wetaskiwin City Council approved the motion to reinstate City of Wetaskiwin public transit to full service.
Although masking will not be mandatory for all passengers, it will be for those who are able to do so.
Drivers for the transit service will also be required to wear a mask and proper PPE at all times. The transit vehicles will also be regularly disinfected as well as have enforced cohort groups and strict capacity regulations—including the reduction of capacity.
