City of Wetaskiwin conducts emergency water shut-offs

Emergency water shut-offs in the City of Wetaskiwin have been scheduled by Aquatera for Dec. 1 and Dec. 2, 2022.

The city states that both days of emergency water shut-offs are taking place due to the need for necessary water main repairs. The repairs are expected to last for approximately eight to 12 hours.

The area of 47 Street between 53 Ave and 54 Ave will be closed to traffic for the duration of the repairs over two days. Alternative routes are advised.

On Thursday repairs will be conducted in the area of 47 Street between 55 Ave and 53 Ave. The water shut off and repairs between 45 Ave and 43 Ave on 53A street are scheduled to begin Dec. 2 at 8 a.m.
