City of Wetaskiwin down to one active COVID-19 case

City of Wetaskiwin has one active case, County of Wetaskiwin at zero cases.

On Wednesday Sept. 23, 2020 the province announced an increase of 143 new COVID-19 cases in Alberta. This brings Alberta’s total active cases at 1,520. Twenty of these cases are in the central zone.

However, according to Alberta Health Services’ the central zone dropped by four active cases, including the Wetaskiwin area.

The City of Wetaskiwin went down from three active cases to one current active case. The City now has 17 recovered cases since the start of the pandemic. The County of Wetaskiwin currently has zero active cases and three recovered cases.

The province will release the updated COVID-19 numbers this afternoon.
