County of Wetaskiwin campgrounds open for the 2021 season

Most County campgrounds are scheduled to open on May 15, 2021.

County of Wetaskiwin campgrounds are scheduled to open for the 2021 season on May 15, 2021. The County of Wetaskiwin says that all county campgrounds are available on a first come first serve basis and only accept cheque or cash for payment.

None of the county campgrounds accept reservations.

The County says that COVID-19 precautions are in place at all their campgrounds.

Campground playgrounds and beaches currently remain open, except Twin Lakes beach area which is closed until further notice.

In accordance with provincial COVID restrictions only one camping unit is allowed per site and only members of the same household should stay together in a campsite. Public picnic shelters are closed.

It is recommended that campers bring their own alcohol-based sanitizer for hand hygiene when soap and water is not available.
