The "Discover Wetaskiwin County West" website is now up and running.

The digital gateway to the region provides information about local activities, dining, accommodations, events, and more.

Supported by the Leduc Nisku and Wetaskiwin Regional Chamber of Commerce, the website showcases the diverse agriculture, business, and tourism offerings in the hamlets of Winfield, Buck Lake, and Alder Flats and surrounding areas. There is also a 'Plan Your Trip' feature for visitors.

"With the launch of this platform, we’re bringing the vibrancy and uniqueness of Winfield, Buck Lake, and Alder Flats directly to the fingertips of visitors and potential investors," said Reeve Josh Bishop in a press release.

"This initiative not only showcases our beautiful region but also fosters economic growth by promoting tourism, relocation, and investment opportunities."

The project was funded through the Small Community Opportunity Program grant from the province.

The website features content designed to encourage exploration of the region’s agritourism offerings and highlights its rural charm and heritage.
