The 13th Annual Wetaskiwin Firefighters’ Social Club Christmas Parade is set for Friday, Nov. 29 at 6:45 p.m.
The parade will start at Baker Funeral Chapel on 50 Ave. and end at the Wetaskiwin High School.
Once again, firefighters will be collecting toys and food bank donations along the route.
This year, attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations and toys for the Salvation Army.
"These contributions will help brighten the holidays for families in need," said City of Wetaskiwin manager of communications Kristen Hewlett.
The deadline to enter a float is Nov. 27. Those wanting to enter a float can fill out the Google form on the parade's event page on Facebook. Instructions for staging are still to come.
Hot chocolate will be served at Baker Funeral Chapel.
