Over 100 industry-leading vendors are heading to Nisku May 14 to 15 for the Leduc, Nisku and Wetaskiwin Chamber of Commerce's inaugural Nisku Energy Show.

The show will be held at the Silent Ice Sports & Entertainment Center, located at 1515 35 Ave., Nisku, Alta.

"From major operators and services providers to innovative technology and specialized equipment manufacturers, the calibre of participants reflects the industry's enthusiasm for this kind of event in our region," said chamber communications and marketing manager Nancy Peters.

"There is a lot of excitement building around the show," said Peters.

The show aims to be a hub for local innovation and cutting-edge advancements shaping Alberta's energy landscape, bringing together leaders from all parts of the energy sector to network and collaborate.

"It goes beyond the traditional trade show model. We've intentionally planned this event as something bigger, to facilitate meaningful connections across Alberta's energy landscape. "

The event integrates high-level networking opportunities like our breakfast with Premier Smith, practical career advancement through the Energy Workforce Exchange, and strategic relationship-building at the Nisku Nightcap.

"This well-rounded approach creates value for everyone from C-suite executives to skilled workers looking to advance their careers."

For industry professionals, the show is a unique opportunity to connect with other providers, discover innovations driving efficiency and sustainability, and network with decision-makers from across the sector, said Peters.

For job seekers, the Energy Workforce Exchange provides direct access to employers in one of Western Canada's largest industrial hubs, along with specialized training programs that can accelerate career advancement and career support professionals to help with resume review and interview preparation.

For business owners and executives, the Opening Breakfast with Premier Smith and Mayor Doblanko delivers valuable insights into the region's economic direction and policy landscape.

"For everyone, the show format allows for someone to accomplish in two days what could take months of separate meetings and research," said Peters.

"The Nisku Energy Show gives us an opportunity to spotlight the expertise and excellence of our local businesses and showcase the role our region plays in driving Alberta's energy future," said chamber CEO Jennifer Garries.

There is still room for vendors to register, but spaces are filling up fast, said Peters. There are still some indoor spaces but the outdoor spaces are completely sold out.

"We recommend securing your spot soon for the Breakfast and Opening Ceremony featuring Premier Danielle Smith, and the Nisku Nightcap for vendors and sponsors," said Peters.

General admission to the Nisku Energy Show exhibition floor is $15 when purchased in advance, and $25 at the door.

The Opening Ceremony and Breakfast with Premier Smith is $80, which includes a gourmet breakfast from Summit Restaurant and networking opportunities.

The Nisku Nightcap networking event for vendors and sponsors is $25 and includes appetizers and a complimentary signature drink.

The Energy Workforce Exchange career fair is free for job seekers, and $100 for a vendor table.

All prices are plus GST.
