UPDATE: May 11, 2020 — Wetaskiwin RCMP have confirmed that the emergency services presence was due to medical emergency that has been ruled as a sudden death.
Original Story: May 8, 2020— Heavy emergency services presence was located at Willow Ridge Estates in Wetaskiwin Alta. this afternoon. Maskwacis ambulance, Wetaskiwin Fire Services and Wetaskiwin RCMP were on scene.
Fire services could not speak on the reason for their presence.
Residents of the building believe the cause of emergency response to be a medical emergency of a resident living in the estate.
