January was an exciting month for our club. On Jan. 3 we had our club's calf tour. This is where we all drive around to each other's farms and get to see everyone's steers! It was really cold that day.
Next on Jan. 17, we hosted our annual Roast Beef Supper Fundraiser. Members had to sell tickets to all of their family and friends.
The members, with lots of help from our parents, put on a really tasty supper. Then it was auction time. Each family had to make a dessert to have live auctioned off.
Shawn Gist kept everyone entertained and doing a great job auctioning all of the desserts. He helped us raise a lot of money for our club, as did all the all of the guests who bought tickets to come to our supper to support the members and our club and those who bid on or bought a dessert. We hope you enjoyed eating them!
Our parents put in a lot of work helping us make this fundraiser a huge success.
We are lucky to have such a supportive community!
