With the assistance of officers from Leduc RCMP General Duty, the Leduc RCMP Crime Reduction Unit (LCRU) conducted a four-day crime reduction initiative that targeted offenders with outstanding warrants in the Leduc RCMP detachment area.

“Crime reduction initiatives such as the warrant roundup will continue to form a part of our crime reduction strategy in Leduc and area,” says Sgt. Thomas Dimopoulos, LCRU NCO.

“People who fail to appear in court, fail to comply with release orders and people who continue to engage in criminal behavior should expect to see the police knocking on their door.”

Leduc RCMP state that they implement crime reduction initiatives to target known offenders and address the root cause of crime in the area.
