Leduc RCMP charge three with mischief to vehicle

On May 17, 2021 at approximately 9:05 p.m., members of the Leduc RCMP and Edmonton International Airport RCMP responded to a report of suspicious males looking into vehicles at the Quick Park parking lot.

Officers immediately attended the area where they located and arrested three males without incident.

Geordie Wilson, 33, of Redwater was charged with:

• Mischief under $5,000;

• Fail to comply with release order condition x2.

Following a judicial interim release hearing, Wilson was released from custody to appear in Leduc Provincial Court on June 24, 2021.

Gregory Prince, 27, of Calgary was charged with mischief under $5,000.

Following a judicial interim release hearing, Prince was released from custody to appear in Leduc Provincial Court on June 24, 2021.

Jonathan Brandingen, 25, of Edmonton was charged with the following:

· Mischief under $5000;

· Fail to comply with release order condition x2;

· Fail to comply with probation order x6.

Following a judicial interim hearing, Brandingen was held in custody to appear in Leduc Provincial Court on June 24, 2021.

Theft of vehicle and theft of vehicle is a crime that can happen anywhere. To avoid theft of your vehicle or possessions in the vehicle, Leduc RCMP suggests always locking your car, removing all valuables from the vehicle every time you leave it, have a working alarm system, and install a GPS tracker in the event that your vehicle is stolen.
