Leduc RCMP are investigating a serious collision between a train and truck that happened at approximately 12:45 p.m. on Jan.26, 2021.
Leduc RCMP and emergency services were called to the scene at Centre Street in New Sarepta. CN Police also attended the scene of the collision.
The 82-year-old male driver was assessed for injuries and released on scene.
The 61-year-old female passenger was transported by STARS Air Ambulance to an Edmonton-area hospital with serious injuries.
Leduc RCMP continue to investigate the cause of the collision.
