Leduc RCMP request assistance to identify armed robbery suspect

On June 13, 2021 at approximately 8:30 a.m., Leduc RCMP responded to a complaint of an armed robbery that occurred at the Super Car and RV Wash in Leduc, Alta.

Leduc RCMP attended the scene with the assistance of RCMP Police Dog Services and RCMP Forensic Identification Services and determined that a lone male entered the store, approached the clerk, brandished a firearm and demanded money.

The clerk was not physically injured and the suspect male left the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Extensive patrols were made by Leduc RCMP but the suspect was not located.

The suspect is described as being a Caucasian male 25 to 35-years-old, approximately six-feet tall and last seen wearing a black hoodie, dark pants, a dark toque, gloves and a face mask. He was also wearing black, grey and whites shoes, was carrying a bag with green material and had a long machete style knife strapped to his back in a leather case.

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in this case.
