Leduc RCMP requesting public assistance in locating stolen horse saddles and tack

The tack was stolen in a break and enter in Leduc, Alta. on Oct. 1, 2021.

Leduc RCMP are seeking public assistance to locate stolen property from a break and enter that occurred sometime between 9 p.m. Sept. 30, 2021 and 5 p.m. October 1. RCMP responded to the break and enter in the area of Township 505 and Range Road 220 in Leduc, Alta., where it was discovered that items including saddles and bridles were stolen.

The stolen saddles are described as:

• Kieffer buffalo leather dressage saddle 17 inches;

• Aussie saddle 17 inches with breast collar;

• Black English all-purpose saddle 16 inches;

• Dark brown Eamor saddle 16 inches;

• Brown/black wool saddle pad with Navijo design;

• Medium brown Eamor Saddle 16 inches;

• Black and pink western saddle 16 inches;

• Black king saddle 16 inches with breast collar;

• 12-inch kids saddle.

Other items stolen include a Tipperary brown and tan competition helmet, a Troxel pink and black competition helmet, a dark brown breast collar, a Kieffer leather bridle and bit, a Black English bridle and bit, a Mohair Cinch 24-inches, a Kieffer saddle girth 48-inches, a breast collar and bridle with pink crystals, and a blue orthopedic contoured saddle pad.
