Maskwacis RCMP responded to a report of a fatal pedestrian collision at 8:55 p.m. March 14, 2021.
The adult male pedestrian was struck on Highway 2A, just north of Highway 611. The RCMP’s investigation indicates that the male was attempting to cross the highway when he was struck.
The pedestrian was declared deceased on scene as a result of his injuries. The driver of the motor vehicle involved remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Traffic was diverted for approximately two hours while the RCMP conducted a scene investigation. The investigation remains ongoing.
