This service is part of Alberta Health Services’ Screen Test program.

AHS states that a mammogram, which is an x-ray of the breast, has been proven to be the most effective way to detect breast cancer. Early detection of breast cancer allows for more treatment options and a better chance of survival.

Wetaskiwin residents can learn more about the program and book an appointment by calling toll-free 1-800-667-0604.
