County of Wetaskiwin Council amended Bylaw No. 2018/35 in their regular July 14 County Council meeting. Bylaw No. 2018/35 is a bylaw in the County of Wetaskiwin created for the purpose of establishing the authority for locating Traffic Control Devices on Highways under the direction, control and management of the County of Wetaskiwin.
County Council approved the amendments to the bylaw to add a new yield signs to multiple rural intersections and stop signs throughout the County.
These intersections include:
RGE 260:
1. RGE RD 260 and TWP RD 453A: install YIELD sign at T-intersection for south bound traffic;
2. RGE RD 260 and TWP RD 462A: install YIELD sign at T-intersection for west bound traffic;
3. RGE RD 260 and TWP RD 464: install STOP sign at intersection for west bound traffic;
4. RGE RD 260 and TWP RD 470: install YIELD sign at T-intersection for south bound traffic;
5. RGE RD 260 and TWP RD 471: install YIELD signs at intersection for north and south bound traffic;
6. RGE RD 260 and TWP RD 473: install YIELD sign at intersection for south bound traffic;
7. RGE RD 260 and TWP RD 474: install YIELD sign at intersection for east bound traffic.
RGE 261:
1. RGE RD 261 and TWP RD 451: install YIELD signs at intersection for east and west bound traffic;
2. RGE RD 261 and TWP RD 460: install YIELD sign at T-intersection for east bound traffic;
3. RGE RD 261 and TWP RD 463: install YIELD sign at T-intersection for east bound traffic;
