Wetaskiwin photographer Dean McMurrer captured some stunning photos recently of local wildlife in the County of Wetaskiwin, as temperatures warm up and the cycle of life continues - a true sign that spring is in the air.
While out for a drive on Sunday, April 6, McMurrer spotted a Blue Heron in flight, a majestic moose and a vibrant sunset.
On April 8, he came across some swans presiding over a pond two miles east of Wetaskiwin, spreading their wings and backlit by the crimson hues of twilight.
