After a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Pigeon Lake Regional School’s (PLRS) kicked off their annual Christmas dinner this year. PLRS has been serving Christmas dinner at the holidays for their staff, students and grade six students from their elementary feeder schools for close to two decades.

The annual event has staff and food option students working hard behind the scenes to serve everyone with a Christmas dinner for lunch.

At the Christmas dinner Elder Myrna Yellowbird offered blessings and a prayer alongside her grandchildren Jayla and Kailan.

WRPS Superintendent Mike Wake, WRPS board member Kyle Dorchester and SRO Cst. Corey Schultz were some of the special guests that helped serve over 300 people at the joyful event.
