Another year of Smile Cookie fundraising success was pulled off in Wetaskiwin. Every year Tim Hortons launches their Smile Cookie campaign which gives back 100 per cent of smile cookie proceeds to local charities.

The Smile Cookie campaign ran from September 19-25.

This year Wetaskiwin’s two Tim Hortons, the north and south locations, decided to donate the Smile Cookie purchases to the Wetaskiwin Hospital.

On Dec. 7, the Wetaskiwin Health Foundation accepted a cheque on behalf of the Wetaskiwin Hospital from Tim Hortons. This year $8,994.78 was raised and will go towards buying a new trauma stretcher for the Emergency Department.
