Environment Canada issued a snowfall warning for the County of Wetaskiwin near Wetaskiwin, Millet, and Highway 2 for the evening of Dec. 13, 2021.

Heavy snowfall of 10-20 cm is expected to fall throughout the evening and overnight, tapering off throughout the day on Tuesday.

Snowfall around the capital region is expected to be closer to 10 cm with areas closer to the Alberta-Saskatchewan border having accumulations of 15-20 cm by Tuesday evening.

Visibility may become suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow and surfaces including highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
