The dream of a new spray park in Wetaskiwin is one step closer to reality thanks to a $60,000 donation from Spring Dental. The locally-owned clinic has stepped up in a big way, sponsoring the water tower feature in the spray park.

“We’re thrilled to be part of a project that will serve children and families for years to come,” said Dr. Rahim Ali, owner of Spring Dental. “Community is at the heart of everything we do, and we’re excited to help create a fun, safe place for families to enjoy the outdoors.”

"With construction planned for this summer, the spray park is set to become a vibrant, inclusive space that will provide families with a free, accessible place to cool off, connect, and create memories," stated a press release.

"The contribution from Spring Dental is part of a growing wave of community support that has brought the project to life. Their donation highlights the important role that local businesses can play in shaping the future of their community."

“Supporting the community you live in — through volunteering, donating, or supporting local initiatives — is how we build a better future for our children,” said Katrina Wold, co-chair of the Spray Park Committee.

“Generous donations from businesses like Spring Dental show the impact local support can have when we all work together toward a common goal.”
