On Sept. 29, at about 2:17 p.m. Leduc RCMP responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 795 at Township Road 490, between a Nissan Sentra and Dodge Ram.
It was determined that a female passenger in the Nissan, a 28-year old resident of Edmonton, was deceased, according to an RCMP release.
There were two other occupants of the Nissan who were taken to hospital, one by ground ambulance and one by STARS. The two occupants of the Dodge were taken to hospital by ground ambulance as well.
The RCMP collision reconstructionist attended and the investigation continues.
RCMP sends condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
